Should I leave or stay?

Yes everyone deserves a second chance BUT only if they are worth it! Hitting you wasn't the right idea at all. I would say leave him, but I know you love him. If i were you, I would sit down and have a long talk with him. Tell him excatly how you feel and what you except from him. Give him another chance if you really love him a lot. Some people act aggressive because they don't think before doing or saying something. Just remind him that you love him and that you don't want this to EVER happen again, if it does happen again, don't think twice, just leave him.
