Should I get a XLR condenser microphone and an USB adapter or should I just get a USB Conderser microphone?

If you are after broadcast quality sound, the you are NOT going to get it with a USB microphone. Why? Because when you use a USB mic, you are using your computer's sound card to record through. Bad idea! Computer sound cards are not broadcast quality. What you should really invest in is a high quality USB computer interface with a build in broadcast quality sound card in it like the NEW Avid Mbox Mini - a href="http://www.guitarcenter.com/Avid-Pro-Tools-LE-Mbox-Mini-3--3rd-Gen--106091184-i1552697.gc" rel="nofollow"http://www.guitarcenter.com/Avid-Pro-Too…/a - For a microphone, I highly recommend the RODE NT1-A condenser mic - a href="http://www.guitarcenter.com/Rode-Microphones-NT1-A-Condenser-Mic-Bundle-105619399-i1474748.gc" rel="nofollow"http://www.guitarcenter.com/Rode-Microph…/a - You will also need a really good pair of studio quality, closed back, over the ear, headphones. You'll also need a mic stand and an XLR cable.
