Apogee One or Avid M-Audio Recording Studio?

I really dig the portability of the Apogee, but more expensive the Avid. On the other hand, Avid is a huge brand and the Fast Track has some sweet controls on it. Would that mean I can record vocal from XLR and guitar from the 1/4 inch simultaneously? And it comes with a form of Pro Tools. I will be primarily using Garageband, but I have no problem with learning Pro Tools. And what has the better quality?
